This generation of college students have been open to a “self-care” type of lifestyle. This includes a generation that prioritizes mental health, and therapy is no longer taboo. This is a positive for the CAPS organization. Students feel less nervous and embarrassed about going to therapy. Instead, this generation of students embrace help and change. Because of this open-mindedness, therapy is in high demand.

Although CAPS is fantastic for students, one cannot deny that other therapy exists. For example, that of Better Help. Not only is it affordable, but you get to pick your own therapist. This online therapy can be an option for students because it offers more flexibility. Better Help would be considered a negative when compared to CAPS. They have numerous therapist options. Better Help, although a great resource, does have some weaknesses. For example, the cost. Although it may be affordable for the public, that number may not be affordable for students. CAPS offers reduced prices for students, and those prices are attainable.
